Black Moon Harbor for Daoist Studies is the virtual space to learn more about what I offer as a practitioner of acupuncture, herbal medicine, Taiji Quan, Qigong and Daoist Medicine.
Within Quan Zhen Long Men Daoism is the essential path of shuang xiu xing ming ~ 性命雙修 ~ dual cultivation of our inner nature (xing) and life endowment, fate, destiny (ming).
My clinical practice, Daoist Medicine offerings and classes at Black Moon Harbor are aligned with this intention to both clarify the mind and restore the body's natural vitality and potential.
To clarify the mind or cultivate our inner nature is not to construct or repair or achieve but rather, through practice and study, to un-obscure a direct perception of true reality and realization of how our coming to be is essentially good! This process of revelation is co-occurring and convective with practices to refine the "self" ~ including our physical body, behavior and lifestyle.
More to come on this topic of dual cultivation in future writing.
Through offerings presented at Black Moon Harbor, I invite you to explore this path of dual cultivation, a path that requires effort, discipline and practice and, in a metaphorical sense, is a path to embody the dark, inward, and mysterious "feminine" principle of the universe ~ traveling inward to the source of ourselves as One.
I look forward to the chance to study and learn with you.
